Tomorrow Sue will be in Albany learning about how to provide services for CEED’s clients under New York’s Autism Coverage Mandate. We are pleased that the overburdened parents will now have fiscal relief in the provision of services for their child with autism. CEED will do everything in its power to partner with parents and be ready for this important change effective January 1, 2013.
The Autism Insurance Mandate actually goes into effect November 1st 2012. Depending on the renewal date of an individuals policy, the renewal date will be when that policy will mandate services.
