Hi. My twins are 2ys and 8mth. Their speech, attention span and language comprehension are extremely delayed. They have been in home based services since Aug of this year. There has been a little progress but they are still very far behind. It breaks my heart every time I see a child their age or younger talking to their parents or family members. Dealing with this is harder than I ever thought it would be. Any words of advice is extremely appreciated.
Danielle,
Thank you for writing. May I assume you are receiving Early Intervention Services? If so, discuss your concerns with your Ongoing Service Coordinator. You sound like you are an excellent advocate for your children. This is the time to use those skills! Let us know how you do.
